Monsoon's Review
Here's my take on the Max-D 5000. The second largest soaker of the new Max-D line, the MD5000 is my light backup soaker. It is basically a new, updated version of the older SC 400. The MD5000 soaks using pressurized reservoir technology, and has quite a large nozzle, approximately about the same as the SC 400s. When filled, the MD5000 is very light and easy to wield. As with every Max-D soaker, the trigger makes a loud clicking noise when pulled. The colours of this soaker vary from different years. I've seen blue-orange ones, red-silver ones and orange-green ones. I reccommend the red and silver one because it has the best colouring. The gun is very well constructed and is virtually leak-free. Overall, this is quite a good soaker for use as a backup weapon. I suggest performing the QFD mod, as it will make it very compatible for filling purposes. I'm not sure if they've been discontinued yet, but if you see one in a store, grab it.
