Ben's Review
I must say that this soaker is underrated, but still could have been a lot better. For a CPS 2500 replacement, it sucks. But for a larger version of the CPS 1700, it's pretty good. First, the colors of this blaster, whatever kind you get are really bad. I've got the yellow and orange kind, which I personally like better than the gray and purple kind. Coloring can be fixed easily by painting your blaster, or covering it in duct tape like I did(if you cover the whole thing). The shape of the 2700 is pretty bad, too. Look around the trigger area and you'll see what I mean. They could have put the pump above the trigger like in the all other CPSes, but they didn't. They could have made it a little less bulbous, but they didn't. They could have not added the stupid thing over the nozzle selector, but they didn't. If you already haven't, remove it like every good CPS 2700 owner did. Unlike the 2500, the 2700 does not have 20X, instead it got 2X, which is great for conservation and sniping.
Now onto something good about the 2700. It's the most powerful spherical CPS bladder type water gun out there. It has 5 shots per tank, and very good shot time, while keeping high output. The 2X nozzle is great for conservation, in fact it's the nozzle I use most often on the 2700.
When you add it all up, the 2700 isn't so bad after all. It could have been better. Just think of it as the ugly, disformed duckling of the Super Soaker family.
